H.E. Dr. Saeed Al Dhaheri is a member of Virtual Rehab’s Advisory Board.
H.E. Dr. Al Dhaheri is a well-known technologist, entrepreneur, and international speaker from the UAE. He brings along over 30 years of experience in academics, leadership, and advisory roles in public and private sectors. He founded three companies: Trustfellows Digital Consulting, Causalius Software House, and Salvus Smart City Solutions.
H.E. is a former Director General of Emirates Identity Authority and a former IT Advisor to the UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs. He has advised and has consulted several UAE government organizations including Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), The UAE Space Agency, and Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Foreign Affairs in areas including investment technologies, smart government & smart city initiatives, digital innovation, and more recently on AI and blockchain projects.
He has also led local and international assessment teams of several programs and awards, including the Dubai government excellence program (DGEP), the GCC e-government award, and the UAE Drones and AI & Robotics for Good Awards.
H.E. was the first Emirati to participate in the first summer program of the International Space University (ISU) that was conducted at the MIT Campus in 1988.
He earned his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Drexel University, Philadelphia, USA in 1994. He is on the technology advisory boards of several universities and startup companies. He is currently serving as Chairman of the Board of Smartworld, the leading system integrator company in UAE. He enjoys speaking about the new disruptive technologies along with their impact on public service delivery, business, and society.
