We hope that you are all doing well.
As many of you are aware by now, we have taken the bold decision to cancel our Public Sale and replace it with smartdrops.
Since our inception back in 2017, Virtual Rehab’s mission has been to help the most vulnerable populations out there to further enhance their mental health and their psychological well-being through the use of Virtual Rehab’s evidence-based solutions.
As a social enterprise, our ultimate goal has always been to give back to the community and to help these vulnerable populations better re-integrate back into society.
In-line with our social mission and with our organization’s goal, we have therefore decided to allocate 50% of what would have been the Public Sale tokens (165m VRH) to the Virtual Rehab Foundation — That is 82.5m VRH (8.25m USD) in total. The remaining 50% will be used as part of the smartdrops program.
The Virtual Rehab Foundation will be an extended arm from the Virtual Rehab organization. We will ultimately establish a non-profit for the Virtual Rehab Foundation and tie it to the parent company accordingly.
So why are we doing this?
Let’s remember the use cases for the VRH token:
- Allows users to order and download programs from Virtual Rehab Online Portal
- Allows users to request additional analysis and diagnosis (using Virtual Rehab’s patented unique expert system, which uses Artificial Intelligence — Predictive Analytics) of executed programs
- Incentivizes users with VRH tokens reward for using our Virtual Rehab solution AND seeking help and counselling from medical doctors, psychologists, and therapists (Proof of Therapy)
- Allows users to acquire services, with complete anonymity, at the Virtual Rehab Therapy Center (VRTC)
We need to understand that not everyone will be fully capable of acquiring these services due to their financial situation.
Therefore, if Virtual Rehab is going to make a difference to these populations, who need our help most, we need to be capable of extending our hands to them and to support them in improving their mental health and their psychological well-being.
This can only happen by allocating a budget for this exact purpose.
We strongly believe that this additional budget will allow Virtual Rehab to help more people out there who are in need of our assistance and who cannot afford the price of our services or the price set by our partner healthcare institutions.
Hence, with this additional allocation, Virtual Rehab will be able to exactly do just that. Subject to each individual’s financial situation, which will be confirmed through an internal rigorous process conducted by the Virtual Rehab team, we will allocate a number of tokens to assist in the rehabilitation process.
We are obviously very excited about this step and we are confident that you will be equally excited about our decision.
